About us

Mallards Cottage, a beautifully refurbished retreat nestled on the edge of Northrepps village near Cromer, Norfolk. Once a former church reading room constructed in traditional Norfolk flint, the cottage has been redesigned to offer stylish, thoughtful interiors that exude both comfort and charm


Inside, you’ll discover a chic living and dining area with vaulted ceilings, exposed oak beams and cosy features such as a wood burner and smart TV. The galley-style kitchen is fully up to date with modern appliances, while the bathroom boasts a contemporary shower cubicle. The elegant bedroom is furnished with a king-size four‑poster bed and features French doors leading directly to the sheltered hot tub for ultimate relaxation


Step outside into the fully fenced garden, complete with lawn, patio area, garden furniture and BBQ—perfect for alfresco dining or unwinding in privacy. The setting is ideal for children and dogs alike, offering both security and serenity


Linen and towels are provided, and for stays of seven nights or more, weekly bed changes are included. Arrival is from 16:00; departure before 10:00. Reservations are best made directly through the park for the most competitive rates

The spacious master bedroom offers a relaxing haven with a luxurious king size four-poster bed as its centrepiece. Designed with comfort and style in mind, the room features soft, neutral décor, plush bedding, and tasteful furnishings to create a calm and restful atmosphere.

Natural light floods the room through French doors, which open directly onto the private garden and hot tub area—perfect for a peaceful morning coffee or a late evening soak. Ample storage is provided with bedside tables and a wardrobe, while soft lighting and quality linens ensure a cosy and indulgent night’s sleep.

The master bedroom includes practical storage options to help you settle in comfortably during your stay. A spacious wardrobe offers room for hanging clothes, while bedside tables with drawers provide additional space for personal items. Whether you're staying for a weekend or a full week, you'll find plenty of room to keep things tidy and organised.

Relax and unwind in your own private outdoor hot tub, located just steps from the cottage and set within a fully enclosed garden for added privacy. Perfect for any season, the hot tub provides a peaceful space to soak, whether under the stars or after a day of exploring the coast.

For your peace of mind, the hot tub is fully flushed and deep cleaned after every guest, with regular weekly maintenance and water quality checks during longer stays. To make your experience even more comfortable, large bath towels are provided, so you can step out, wrap up, and relax with ease.
